01

Searching Artists online and Shortlisting Potential Collaborators

Maati Baani made an internet search on platforms such as You Tube to shortlist musicians to make a unique music recipe. The desire was to blend together sounds from different cultural landscapes to create music which has never been heard before. The Music Yantra had to be a genuinely collaborative music effort which would stretch the boundaries of music genres.
02

Sharing basic tracks with collaborators & rehearsing on Skype

The basic track was shared with the colloborating artists. The collaborators would then blend their flavour of music & sound to the track. None of the collaborators travelled for rehearsals. This is a unique project where the rehearsals took place online through Skype.
03

Assigning Video & Audio teams for Collaborating Musicians

After the collaborators contribution was finalised, audio & video teams were assigned to each collaborator to record their music and shoot their part of the video episode. The thought process and unique cultures were captured during this phase.
04

Getting the Final File from each collaborator

Individual files from each collaborator were sent to Maati Baani for final editing.
05

Producing the Final Video

This was the most crucial part of The Music Yantra. Maati Baani had the responsibility to create a never heard before music-genre by blending together all the collaborator parts. After hours of editing, the final video episodes were produced.
